The Deadliest Podcast - Transcendentalism

In this episode we discuss such things as: An upcoming guest (former Judge), ask the Magic 8 Ball, the "American Dream", bottle cap terrorism and we review a documentary called DMT: The Spirit Molecule; so if you aren't in to some really out-there shit, then maybe this one isn't for you.  But it should be.

We're planning on having former Deadliest Podcast Blogger Awards Judge, Logan, on for next week - assuming his busy college life allows time.  We'll have some interesting interviews lined-up in the near-future covering some various topics.  Additionally, if there are some people that you'd like us to try and go after - let us know.

Oh, and by the way, Jay, your Fischer Price microphone needs new batteries again.

The Deadliest Podcast - Alan's birthday edition

Fresh off the Blogger Awards, we're back behind the mic's with our Special Guest, Alan, on his birthday.  As a side note, if you were a Blogger Award winner and you want your *prize*, drop us a line with your address to jayandkirbyproductions@gmail.com.

We've got a couple of pretty cool announcements, embedded inside the audio-glory, for some upcoming conversations - one of them is Deadliest Warrior related...sort of.  The other...is going to be pretty mind-blowing; so prepare yourselves.  Carve out some time to do some menial project and listen to the Deadliest Podcast.  We'd also have another potential cool announcement to discuss if a certain couple of guys, who like to bust things in their backyard, would get back to us!

In this episode we discuss such things as: Steve Irwin, LOTS of pseudoscience-stuff, Netflix for porn, human energy, museums and a lot of other things that frankly, I don't remember - so I'm looking forward to listening myself.

The Deadliest Podcast - Blogger Awards

We haven't recorded in a long while due to real-world things going on in our lives; but when we come back...we deliver what a lot of you have been awaiting.  And by deliver, I mean we half-ass it as usual.

Many blessings and thanks to our Judges, Roker and Logan, for helping us conduct the Awards show.  To the winners (announced within), please send us an email for Facebook message with your contact information to claim your award(s).  If I may honestly state, I went back and read some of the pieces discussed in the episode and y'all really have a talent for it.  I always appreciate when people discover and use their talents.  Kudos.

Thanks for sticking with us through the long delay.  We'll be back to recording again next week with some new stuff and might have some side-projects/partnerships to announce in the near future - stay tuned!

The Deadliest Podcast - Back to the Future

I've been watching a lot of Back to the Future (and by that I mean it's just been on the background while I'm pounding Jay's mom) lately and it's always been a favorite of mine; so I asked Jay to sit down and discuss it with me.  We also welcome our special guest Alan back in to the fold to discuss it with us.  This movie holds a very special place in my heart for personal reasons so thank you for embellishing me on this one.  I'd love to continue the discussion on the message thread too; because I only got about 10% off my plate - it's hard to talk over the sounds of Jay's incessant laughing and Alan's bong.

Next up will be the Blogger Awards, boys and girls girl.  Strap-in.

The Deadliest Podcast - Get to know your Blogger Awards judge, Roker

Greetings, DPer's.  Apparently, we're now in to interviewing our listeners...fresh off our chat with legendary JNez, we speak with Roker and preview the upcoming Blogger Awards.  At least, I think we talked about it some...mostly, I just remember Jay giving Roker some horrendous advice.  Either way, it's all inside.

We've also been in communication with Logan and we're getting geared-up for this Blogger Awards thingie (who would have thought we'd actually be getting this done?).  We just need to secure some lovely prizes for the winners and coordinate the date with the judges and we'll be all set.

The Deadliest Podcast - with special guest/listener, JNez

Greetings, Deadliest Podcasters (or those of you that remain after the death of Deadliest Warrior).  In this episode, we bring you one of your own - a long-time, avid listener and supporter of the podcast, JNez.  You've seen his funny musings on the boards, now we bring them to you in the form of audio-mana.  What other podcast gets the listeners so involved?

Stay tuned for the next episode; which will be available in a few days, featuring one (maybe the only) of the judges for the Blogger Awards, el Roker!  We'll preview the upcoming awards show amongst some other nonsense ramblings.

The Deadliest Podcast - Bitches & Blowjobs Edition

***WARNING*** Sexually explicit material inside!

I'm not even sure how to describe this one.  You see, my wife (Amy) and her friend (Sarah) are considering starting their own podcast (no doubt after seeing the HUGE success of the Deadliest Podcast).  Of course, this podcast wouldn't really be targeted to this demographic - nonetheless, we decided (over dinner, minutes beforehand) to have a little fun and flip-on the mics.  The glorious result is inside the audio-confectionary.

Enjoy?

The Deadliest Podcast - A Conversation with Nick Hughes

Nick Hughes is a badass - plain and simple.  He's sharp, intelligent, speaks his mind and can kick your ass.  If you liked him on Deadliest Warrior Season 3: French Foreign Legion vs. Ghurkas; you'll like him on the Deadliest Podcast.  He's exactly how he represented himself on the show; and best of all, he shares a LOT of behind-the-scenes insight on the show - with emphasis on how the FFL got screwed by studio hacks.  Of course, IMO, that was the felix colpa of the show itself.

Apparently, the internet gods demanded a sacrifice before our show which we failed to provide to them.  In turn, they decided to riddle our little show with some technical challenges - we even left some of it in; so you'd all get some insight in to our little world.

Keep putting the stuff together for the upcoming blogger awards - it appears, from the posts, that it is starting to come together.  We plan on having another Deadliest Podcast out next week as well - if that doesn't get you through the week, then I don't know what will.

The Deadliest Podcast - with a special guest, Alan

Greetings Deadliest Podcastites - Well, it finally happened.  In the last battle for Deadliest Warrior supremacy, it appears the Spike TV executives defeated the the show itself.  From this humble viewers perspective, they screwed with the format a bit too much and destroyed the very foundation on which the love of the show was founded - subsequently alienating their fanbase and redirecting the blame from themselves (for fucking with the format) on to others.  Oh, and Robert Daly too.  He sucks.

Anywhoooo, swear, these Awards shows are right around the corner (you know, to coincide with Oscar season in February).  However, we're going to need to get some of you to commit to coming on our show as a part of it.  So, get over your fears of public speaking, picture Jay naked and let's get this thing going.  We also need some help in getting this pimped out to the blogger community, since Jay and I aren't plugged-in to that as much; so please, spread the good word of the Deadliest Podcast to promote the upcoming Awards episodes.

We've also got a couple of interviews around the corner with Steve Niles and Nick Hughes; so get your questions in soon.  In the meantime, we'll continue with the nonsense and introduce a friend of ours, Alan (pictured), in to the fray for this episodewhere we discuss such things as: Chinese robots, movies, puppets, evil men, Harry Potter, the Olsen twins, the sound of Alan's bong, SOPA/PIPA, Anonymous, first-world problems, Jay hates Ryan Seacrest and a littany of other things.

This will make sense later.
